Small Arms Cost & Capability Assessment for the Japanese Ministry of Defence

Our team at Arcipel recently completed a focused analytical project for the Japanese Ministry of Defence examining the cost, production, and performance characteristics of a selected set of modern small‑arms systems. The study supported JMOD’s ongoing efforts to benchmark international offerings and inform future procurement planning. Working from a structured specification, Arcipel conducted a two‑part assessment covering a diverse set of submachine guns, shotguns, and next‑gen machine guns sourced from leading global manufacturers. The project combined open‑source research and direct industry engagement to ensure accuracy and reliability.

Russian Electronic Warfare: Operational Threat Assessment

Arcipel is currently delivering a specialised analytical and project for a military client focused on the evolving landscape of Russian electronic warfare. The project supports planners in understanding how Russia’s rapidly advancing EW capabilities shape the modern battlespace and influence operational decision‑making. Working within a controlled, classified framework, Arcipel has developed a tailored series of assessments that explore how electronic attack and electromagnetic deception could affect force survivability, command‑and‑control resilience, and joint operations.
